Ingredients:

  • 1 pound chicken breast boned and sliced thin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 small cabbage head, shredded
  • 1/2 pound mushroom, trimmed and sliced
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 cups cashews
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce and
  • 3 ounces Chinese noodles

Procedure:

First you have to place the chicken, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 2 tablespoons soy sauce in a bowl. You have to keep it for 15 minutes. Then you need to heat 2 tablespoons of oil with salt. Chicken should be added, and you need to stir it till it is white and firm. Then add onions and mushrooms and stir till the vegetables become soft. Then remove it from the pan. Then 2 tablespoons of oil need to be added. Then you have to stir in cabbage and sugar. Then you need to fry it for 3 to 4 minutes. Cashews should be added to the chicken vegetable mixture. One teaspoon cornstarch should be added to ¼ cup soy sauce. Then you need to stir into chicken cashew mixture. You need to cover and steam for a minute. Then, you need to stir till the sauce becomes thick.
