Chicken cacciatore will be a perfect choice when your saliva secretion is much high. If you have chicken cacciatore on your dining table certainly, you will have a good influence on your health as well as your family. As far as the healthy aspect is concerned, this particular recipe is enriched with less saturated fat and sodium.


  • 4 Skinless bone-in chicken breast halves
  • 1 medium size onion, cut in half, and thinly sliced into half-moons
  • Take 2 cloves garlic, minced (about 2 tsp)
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can no-salt-added diced tomatoes, with juices
  • ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste
  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes or more to taste as per your choice
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips for a spicy preparation

Method of preparation:

  1. First of all rinse the chicken and make it dry with the aid of a dry towel, finally add some salt and black pepper to it.
  2. Keep the pan on medium-high heat and pour some oil into it, once the oil get heated add the chicken till it become brown on both the side.
  3. On an average the whole process will take 8 minute and after that transfer the chicken into a separate plate.
  4. Then add the onion and bell pepper into the pan and coo it for 5 minute or till all the vegetable get soft.
  5. Add the mushroom and cook it and stir it occasionally.
  6. After 10 minute the mushroom will become brown in color at that moment add the wine and cook until reduced by half.
  7. Finally add the chicken breasts to the pan cover under pan and cook it for 20 minutes.
  8. Add a little salt, black pepper according to your taste and the Chicken cacciatore is ready to serve.
